Originally from Napa, California, Payson moved to Denver, Colorado to attend the University of Denver and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications. Within the school of Media, Film and Journalism, Payson found her love of graphic design and brand identity. She did a social media internship at RE/MAX HQ, which inspired her love of real estate marketing. Right after graduation she landed an incredible marketing job at a Denver real estate company doing graphic and web design, social media and event planning. Her husband was an officer in the Army and with that, they moved a lot. They spent the next 9 years moving to different countries, across the country and ultimately just moved back to California for her husband to earn his MBA from UC Berkeley. Payson and her husband have 2 boys, Charlie (3.5 years old) and Everett (1 year old). Through all of this, Payson has maintained working for her real estate clients and discovered a passion for motherhood centered topics.
